A Brief Concert Review: Madonna V
Playing a PACKED house, Madonna hit the roof with high notes like these:

Opening music - The Beast Within

Enfolded in one of the most majestic video screen stage sets I've ever seen,
Madonna built the suspense with a spooky spoken word homily about life.
Floating words about the dangers of the external and internal wolves of the
world paralleled 20 foot high images of men, women, and a lupine beast.
(Who I thought was rather cute, myself. Like a pup at 17th & T Dog Park.)
The answer to all the problems was love, represented I presumed, by the woman
Behind the giant screens that slid to the sky, and slunk to the sides: The Madonna.

Vogue...

The Great Lady of Good Gossip VI
(Note: Not in a linear order just yet.)

No mystery girl, she was frank. "It's no mystery,
boy", she pointed out, "what good gossip is." I,
puzzled, chased her thoughts like birds. "It's five
minutes of fun! Your chance in life to tell the world
someone's some something you know but they don't...

A Brief Concert Review: Madonna IV
We whirled down and around the outer boondocks of the stadium to the heart
of it's metropolis of mini-me Madonnas. Through a sea of women in their last burst
of youth and young women who were never ever going to age. They were happy &
so was I. Madonna's positive explorations of sexuality and romantic individuality
have been a blessing for the world. I'm grateful for all the ladies carrying that torch!

Out tour ended in...

(Note: This is not in sequential order just yet.)

In the middle of the midnight hour, she knocked at the
gate door of the cemetery party. I was scared, but she
was full of excitement. Walking through a cloud of..

A Brief Concert Review: Madonna III
Continued at:

I had bought tickets the minute they went on sale on Ticketmaster, and the
best I could get obtain were "Eagles Nest" (read nosebleed) seats nearly
BEHIND the right side of the stage. She'd apparently sold several thousand
Seats in a matter of seconds. Wow!! I checked back again minutes later, but
It was all sold out. No matter. I was just happy to be alive & seeing the show...

The Great Lady of Good Gossip IV
Mood:  caffeinated
Note: I don't have a story arc for this, just random images.
So, in the interest of pleasing the ladies, and getting a long-over due flow going, here is a shot:

Girl meets Boy.
Girl takes Boy out.
Girl takes Boy out of his way to stop the government.
Girl shows Boy what...

A Brief Concert Review: Madonna II
Mood:  party time!
(Prelude Note:
My previous knowledge of Madonna had solely been through her music,
videos, and press REPUTATION. I'd never seen her live. My only real-life
experience with a Madonna was with a previous employer by the same name.
That Madonna was a 50-ton truck with white hair and an esteem-killing attitude.
I survived working for her only with the help of one of the Pharmacy Prophets.

The Great Lady of Good Gossip III
Mood:  celebratory
I knew her in the crazy days before she went away...

"Wild birds, flock to me!", she cried, commanding as a matter-of-fact. She was a heatseeker. She sought the warmth of all the burning cigarette ends in the room. And the whispered words from the lips at the opposite ends. Words cloaked in smoke & fire.
