Burning Up (from Madonna, 1983)
I've always liked this song. Maybe b/c I wasn't numbed to it by a zillion 80's radio plays.
Madonna jerked the spectacle to a stop, putting all the dancing energies into her and just
an electic guitar. Standing motionless, burning up for her audience's love, Madonna sweated bullets, either unhappily duty-bound to sing an oldie, or in a punkish pop trance.
At this point, the line of ladies who came of age in the 80s got up to dance, as I did, too.
Didn't really get the line-graffiti moving picture behind her, the only thing moving, until..
