The fate of nations hung in the balance, and I took…a Holiday! As flags of the world unfurled on the wall behind her, as cannons of confetti shot up all around the massive metal catwalk that came crashing down to a happy landing and a happy ending, Madonna sang goodnight and goodbye. She walked one last time on the catwalk, troupe in tow. The happiness that was flowing through me was non-stop. I felt free from my troubles and recharged to face my future again as Madonna triumphantly won over the audience, dancing out, disappearing in a daylight of joy that night.
